Within 2 months of the biometrics appointment, USCIS will interview you and your spouse. The interview is not difficult and usually lasts 10-15 minutes. The purpose of the interview is primarily to investigate marriage fraud, and secondarily, to determine the sponsors ability to provide financial support to the intending immigrant. Couples who have bona fide relationships should not be overly concerned with this process.
